How it works
This tool mixes the starting colour toward white and black. Each swatch includes a black or white text recommendation based on WCAG relative luminance. Recheck real text, borders, focus indicators and neighbouring colours in your final design.
Example and practical tip
A colour can work as a decorative background but still need a different text colour. Aim for at least 4.5:1 for normal text.
