How to play Battleship
Place ships of length 5, 4, 3, 3 and 2 horizontally or vertically without overlap. Players alternate one shot at a time. Sink all five opposing ships to win. Only your own fleet and shots you have taken are visible to you.
Touch, mouse and keyboard
Tap or click a piece or square. Keyboard players can use Tab and Enter; grid games also support arrow keys.

Do my friends need an account?
No. Everyone joins through the same private link and chooses a nickname. Each person should use their own browser or device. Registration is never required to play.
Can I play on a phone with someone on a computer?
Yes. Rooms work across mobile and desktop browsers. Light and dark appearance follow your site preference. Keep an internet connection while playing.
Are game rooms public?
Rooms are not listed in search or the game catalogue. Anyone you give the link to can join while the lobby is open, so share it only with your intended players. The host can lock the lobby. Rooms expire after 24 hours; expired room data is removed when new rooms are created.
Can I reconnect or play again?
Reopen the room link in the same browser to keep your seat. Clearing browser cookies loses your seat. After a match, everyone can choose Rematch. A new group can create a fresh room at any time.
