Stage Studio Collective
Artists and performing arts company
Movement, theatre and performance work made through a shared studio practice and a curiosity about the spaces between people.
A CLOSER LOOK
Three projects from the collective’s practice.
A movement work exploring how distance changes a gesture and the relationship between performers.
A studio play about the work we return to and the conversations that never quite feel complete.
A performance following the small negotiations of sharing a place with other people.
Stage Studio brings independent artists into a shared process of making, testing and performing. Each project finds its form through the people, subject and space involved.
A visual study of performance spaces and the work around a rehearsal.
A participation programme for the collective.
An exploratory group session around a simple movement question and a shared studio task.
The Collective Studio
A look at a work in development and a conversation about the process.
