A CLOSER LOOK

More than one way to make a difference

A next chapter takes more than an open door.

Second Chance considers the animal’s needs and the home or support being offered. Adoption and fostering begin with information, a suitability conversation and the organisation’s review process.

A considered first step

Meetings with an animal are arranged after an introductory conversation. We discuss household routines, other animals, care needs and the proposed settling-in period before an adoption is considered. Foster enquiries begin with the type of care and space you can offer; the private home address is shared only through the agreed process.
