Repair & Return connects people with practical repair and reuse conversations. What can be accepted depends on the item, condition and the current session or collection scope.
Keep useful things in the conversation
Bring a worn item, share a repair skill or help organise the next community bench session.
Clothing repair enquiries
Describe the fabric, worn seam or damaged area and ask whether the next session can help. Confirm suitability before bringing the item. Illustrative hand-sewing photograph by Erwin Bosman; not a completed hub repair.
Reuse workshops
Practical group learning around making, mending and using materials again.
Accepted material enquiries
Check the current list and arrangements before bringing material to the hub.
Ask before you bring it
Community bench sessions run on the second Saturday of the month, 10 am–1 pm, at 8 Foundry Lane, Bellhaven. Bring clean clothing, small non-electrical household objects or a repair question. Contact the hub before bringing an item; a repair cannot be guaranteed.
The item
Type, condition, size and the repair or reuse question.
The session
Current dates, capacity and participation requirements.
The material
Accepted categories and the required preparation for a confirmed drop-off.
A closer look at hand stitching

Working together
